As you arrive in the pretty shared courtyard, the stone fronted Barn is to the right of the Farmhouse. On entering through the front door, you turn left into the large, contemporary kitchen which offers plenty of space for cooking and socialising. The farmhouse table and chairs in the centre make it perfect for relaxed family breakfasts and informal dinners. Off the kitchen is a cosy conservatory, providing a quiet space for relaxing, playing board games or reading. Off the hallway is a downstairs WC.
The living space offers open-plan dining area, oak table with rattan dining chair and a large lounge area with comfy sofas, stone painted walls and double french doors opening on the patio. The patio is perfect for alfresco dining with comfortable garden furniture and leads onto the extensive lawn which is surrounded by beautifully planted mature gardens and trees. The large, family friendly garden has plenty of space for games, exploring or simply relaxing in the fresh Cornish air.
The interiors are full of country house charm and upstairs is no exception. There are three large bedrooms, all with ensuite, lovely countryside views and high quality linens and individually decorated. The Superking room has a walk-in shower and bath, while the King and Twin rooms both offer shower-room ensuites.
Tregoose Barn forms part of the Tregoose Farm complex which was originally part of Trevarno Estate and was latterly occupied the Bickford-Smith family who built the famous clock tower in Porthleven
Enter through the cobbled shared driveway and courtyard which offers parking for 2-3 cars. Dogs are welcome at Tregoose Barn. There is wifi provided throughout the property.
Tregoose Barn can be booked together with Tregoose Farmhouse to accommodate 18 guests, ideal for extended family holidays or special occasions.
Please note: The property does have wifi, but due to its rural location, it is a bit slow as there isn’t a fibre broadband available.
