Trefusis is a delightful traditional Cornish cottage set back from the harbour in the quiet cul de sac of Prospect Place. It has all the quirky charm you would expect. It has been totally refurbished and offers comfortable and attractive accommodation whilst retaining many of the cottage’s original features.
The sunny entrance hall leads into a parquet floored sitting room with comfortable sofas, woodburner and flatscreen TV. Through an archway is the newly renovated kitchen-diner with slate floor, fridge/freezer, butler sink and oven. The utility room houses the washer/dryer and also has a WC. The back door takes you out to the sheltered decked patio with garden furniture that enjoys the sun across the day.
Upstairs there is the master bedroom with new ensuite bathroom, attractive oak furniture and dual aspect. There is also a twin bedroom, a single room and a new family bathroom with bath and electric shower. Trefusis is heated with new electric heaters and the woodburner for cooler days.

Really well equipped and homely cottage. Very tastefully decorated with lovely ornaments, books etc. Cottage had nice atmosphere and character. 2nd week linen change was a great service.

Lovely stay for New year! The cottage was warm and snug like last time, especially like the new bathrooms and shower. Perfect location for visiting the Lizard, St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount and just relaxing.

Our second stay at Trefusis and it was brilliant. The two new bathrooms are gorgeous! We love Porthleven, recommend Amelies for a lovely meal but haven't had a bad meal anywhere! Thank you for opening your house to us, we will be back next year.
Lovely cottage! We have enjoyed exploring Porthleven this week in glorious sunshine! Eating and drinking out in this lovely harbour, sunny days on the beach and trips to St Michael's Mount, Penzance and Poldark Mine. The cottage is comfy with everything we need. We've had such a relaxing and happy stay.

Trefusis is a lovely cottage, with plenty of room. We felt well looked after, with beds made, parking sorted, and tea/ coffee on our arrival. The kitchen was particularly spacious and perfect for a family of 5.

We had a lovely time here for half term, the kids loved going crabbing at the harbour. Lovely meal at Kota Kai and brilliant breakfast at Hideway. The cottage had everything we needed and cosy and warm at night! Loved all the little personal touches. Will definitely come again!!
A great weeks stay in a beautiful, comfortable, top quality cottage. The welcome pack was delicious-especially after a long journey. Porthleven is a lovely village, we spent a lot of time strolling and watching the world go by- will be back again in the future.
