Located in a historic area of Porthleven, just 5 minutes stroll to the harbour, village shops and amenities and with private parking.
The ground floor provides the family bathroom and the master bedroom with doors onto a decked area leading to the garden. The utility/boot room has heating, a belfast sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and ample coat hooks & boot/shoe racks, ideal for drying beach or walking gear when the weather is less than kind. For dog owners this space is brilliant for cleaning up muddy paws before entry into the house!
Upstairs is a delightful open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with vaulted ceilings decorated in warm autumnul tones. The lounge area features a TV & DVD and French doors leading onto the furnished balcony with tranquil views across the village to the countryside beyond.
The kitchen and dining area are very well equipped with an electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, fridge, wine/drinks cooler & DAB radio/iPod dock and free WiFi.
Adjacent to the living room is two further bedrooms – High Tide with double bed and a coastal theme and The Owls Nest with one single bed and optional additional guest bed, making it a lovely room for 2 children or one adult.
NOTE: The Old Butchers will accommodate up to 5 adults + one child.

The Old Butchers is a lovely cosy property with good amenities and a lovely feel to it. The boot room is perfect following a muddy walk!!
The accommodation is just perfect and so is the town of Porthleven. We would love to come back to the Old Butcher's but I think we will need to book early to avoid disappointment.
What a fantastic holiday we've just had staying at The Old Butchers. The cottage is lovely and is extremely well kitted out. Everything we needed was provided! The weather was chilly but we found The Old Butchers warm and cosy. The Old Butchers is well situated 5 mins walk from all that Porthleven has to offer. Our dog also had a lovely week too with even dog bowls and a treat provided! I would highly recommend The Old Butchers, we are planning our next trip!
We fell in love with The Old Butcher's, its a perfect holiday home where you find everything you need to have a wonderful stay! Thanks a lot to the owners for their tasteful furnishing and thanks to the housekeeper for keeping it so clean. We would like to stay longer and would like to come back very soon!
A lovely place to stay! This was our third visit to the old butchers and would highly recommend it. The house is finished to a high standard, the owners are very helpful and friendly and made us a lovely lemon drizzle cake!

Porthleven a lovely harbour town with good shops and places to eat. This was our 3rd holiday to the old Butchers which is a very comfortable holiday cottage with everything you need and more . Also the owners make you feel very welcome. Also booking though Porthleven holiday cottages is very easy with a good website showing the details of the cottages.
