Plan your holiday to get some Spring sunshine in the May half term.

Cornwall’s temperate climate allows the first of the summer blooms to appear earlier than the rest of the country, include seeing the famous Cornish gardens in full bloom into your itinerary!

We would argue this is the best time of year to visit Cornwall and Porthleven. As the summer holidays come to an end it is a little quieter in the county and there are still long, warm days to enjoy. It is a popular time to walk the South West Coast path.

Plan your holiday around the St Ives September Festival or the Falmouth Oyster Festival in October. Enjoy a week with the family over half term to coincide with Halloween festivities.
