It’s a dogs life in Porthleven. For dogs spending time on holiday with their owners there are pubs and cafes, beach walks, coast path adventures and not far away, fun attractions to visit. Being dog lovers ourselves, we’ve put together our favourite haunts for homemade cake and great coffee that welcome furry friends.

Nauti-But-Ice, Porthleven harbour

A lovely relaxed café serving up beautiful views over the harbour with Roskilly’s Ice-Cream, light lunches and Origin Coffee. Enjoy the outside terrace in warmer months and the roaring wood burner in the winter. Go-Nauti, next door, is a family friendly pizza restaurant.

Origin Coffee Café, Porthleven harbour

This little coffee shop is pretty awesome! Origin Coffee originates from Helston, just a few miles away, where their ethically sourced coffee is brewed. It is now in shops all over the world! The views onto the harbour head and towards our famous clock tower make you want to linger a little longer.

Poldhu Beach Cafe

Head down to Poldhu Cove near Mullion to start your day! The imposing cliffs on either side make a great vantage point to admire the beach from high above. Poldu Beach Cafe offers visitors their famous creamy hot chocolates with all the trimmings. Very inviting after a winter walk on the cliffs! Basic fare is served up in the summer months too.
