Easter holidays, for many, mark the start of Spring. Warm early Spring sunshine brightens up Cornwall’s beaches and longer days mark the end of Winter. There is a chance of an April shower or possibly time to get the suncream out!
Whatever the weather, there are plenty of activities for families spending time in Cornwall over Easter. Here are our five to try:
The folks at the National Trust invite you and your children to join them in celebrating Spring.

Enjoy Spring at Trebah Gardens. Spring blooms will abound in this beautiful valley garden. Walk to down to the private beach for an ice-cream and head back for an afternoon of Easter Workshops.
Take buckets and spades and something warm to wear and head to Poldhu Cove near Mullion. This sheltered, sandy beach is the perfect place to relax in the Spring sunshine. There are walks on the cliffs and the lovely Poldhu Beach Cafe serving light lunch and warming drinks. You could also visit the facinating Marconi Centre on the cliff tops to find out about the first radio wave transmissions ever made.
