Overlooking the working fishing harbour of Porthleven in the South West of Cornwall, The Square is the newest addition to this great ‘foodie’ village. Influenced by the classic French bistro, we will offer good food, cooked simply using fresh local ingredients with a warm, friendly and relaxed service. Open for for coffee, cakes, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Amelies is located on the quayside with lovely views of the harbour from the glass fronted doors. Offering a variety of bistro style dishes including sea food specials and excellent wood-fired oven baked pizzas.
Located on the outer harbour, The Ship Inn is a quintessential Cornish pub, full of character and charm. Built in the 18th century, the Ship is one of the oldest buildings in Porthleven and has a loyal local following.
With fantastic harbour views, the Rick Stein Sea Food Restaurant in Porthleven offers sharing boards of local and seasonal produce all inspired by Rick’s travels as well as mains such as Singapore chilli crab, fresh fish and rib eye steak.
Old favorites such as pasta and risotto dishes, mussels, fishcakes, Asian curries and simple grilled fish are served alongside a selection of ‘mini Kai’, i.e. small plates such as salt & pepper squid, beef carpaccio, oysters, piri piri prawns and potted crab.
Located in Porthleven is the superb Nauti But Ice cafe and ice cream parlour. Serving amazing coffee, cake and Roskilly’s ice cream your need to fight the locals for a seat. The cafe boasts a great menu with a view to match. Nauti is open 9am to 5pm daily, extending to 9pm in the summer months.
‘Seadrift’ is a stylish contemporary Kitchen – Cafe located on the picturesque harbour of Porthleven. The food is at the heart of what Chris and Carla offer, Chris is the chef and produces the dishes on the menu using the freshest produce sourced from the local area.
Tea room serving breakfasts, light lunches, cream teas and cakes with gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. Open 9am to 8pm. Bring your own wine.
The Brew House showcases a range of coffees and brewing methods. Operated by Origin Coffee the Brew House often has UK exclusive coffees that are specially sourced. Artisan coffee at its best!
